Dr. Corvino is a seasoned healthcare executive with a robust clinical foundation as both a pharmacist and physician. With over 20 years of hands-on clinical experience and 15 years of strategic leadership along with extensive experience in multiple private equity-backed healthcare platforms, Dr. Corvino has successfully driven growth, operational excellence, and value creation in the healthcare sector. His expertise lies in fostering physician partnerships, spearheading mergers and acquisitions, and implementing innovative care models that enhance patient outcomes and operational efficiency.

Before joining Orthopedic Care Partners, Dr. Corvino served in a variety of leadership roles including CEO of Spire Orthopedic Partners, where he transformed a single surgical practice into a nationally recognized musculoskeletal platform. Under his leadership, Spire expanded its physician base fourfold, integrated multiple practices, and developed a scalable operational model that supported significant revenue growth and the highest levels of patient care.

As Chief Operating Officer at Covenant Physician Partners, a privately held physician services company that owns and operates a variety of healthcare facilities including ambulatory surgery centers, anesthesia companies, anatomic pathology labs, and physician practices, Dr. Corvino prepared the company for significant growth by playing a pivotal role in rebranding and repositioning the organization to attract top-tier physicians and partners. He was instrumental in doubling the company’s revenue and achieving substantial growth through a combination of organic expansion and strategic acquisitions.

During his tenure at US Acute Care Solutions, the nation’s leading physician-owned provider of integrated acute care services for six million patients annually, Dr. Corvino was instrumental in developing a pioneering integrated acute care model. His leadership not only enhanced patient experience, driving satisfaction scores into the 90th percentile, but also achieved substantial cost reductions across multiple facilities. As Chief Operating Officer during a period of rapid expansion, Dr. Corvino’s strategic vision and operational expertise were pivotal in scaling the organization and solidifying its reputation for excellence in acute care delivery.

Along with being an innovator of new healthcare solutions, Dr. Corvino has worked to achieve improved efficiency, structure staff to optimize services and financial performance, and enhance the utilization of technology. He is deeply committed to designing programs from the patients’ perspective and aligning providers and processes to continually enhance the patient experience. Dr. Corvino holds a Doctor of Medicine (MD) and a Master of Business Administration (MBA) from the State University of New York at Buffalo, and a Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy from St. John’s University. He is board certified in Emergency Medicine, completing his residency from The Ohio State University, and licensed to practice in multiple states. In addition to his professional achievements, Dr. Corvino enjoys spending time with his family, playing squash, skiing, and traveling.
