Orthopedic Care Partners Names Rodney Plante as Chief Technology Officer

GAINSVILLE, Fla., April 1, 2025 — Orthopedic Care Partners (“OCP” or the “Organization”) is pleased to announce the appointment of Rodney Plante as its new Chief Technology Officer (CTO). A highly accomplished healthcare IT executive, Plante brings extensive experience in digital transformation, technology, strategy, enterprise IT operations, and cybersecurity.

Plante joins OCP from Optum Health (UnitedHealth Group), where he successfully led the rapid integration of 235+ federated medical practices, consolidating disparate applications and systems into a unified technology ecosystem that resulted in over $50M in operational efficiencies. His leadership in streamlining technology ecosystems and optimizing IT operations has enhanced provider performance and elevated patient care across multiple healthcare organizations, including NYU Langone Medical Center and Hospital for Special Surgery.

As CTO, Plante will oversee OCP’s technology strategy, leading initiatives to enhance digital innovation, strengthen cybersecurity, and streamline IT systems to support the Organization’s long-term growth.
