Ben Boese

VP of IT Operations

Ben Boese is a seasoned healthcare technology executive known for translating complex challenges into innovative, scalable solutions. With over 15 years of hands-on experience in infrastructure design, systems modernization, and clinical IT strategy, he is recognized for building high-performing teams and delivering secure, reliable technology platforms that drive measurable impact across healthcare organizations.

He began his career at Vail Valley Medical Center as a systems engineer, where he discovered his passion for healthcare IT. Working closely with physicians and clinical staff, he led the early transformation from physical desktops to virtual desktop infrastructure (VDI), significantly improving access, performance, and supportability. This formative experience shaped his commitment to aligning technology with clinical workflows and patient care—setting the foundation for his leadership approach today.

As Vice President of Technology Operations for Orthopedic Care Partners (OCP), Ben leads enterprise-wide technology service delivery, with a focus on performance, cybersecurity, system reliability, and alignment with organizational growth. He partners closely with senior leadership to drive strategic initiatives that support clinical operations and empower physicians and staff through patient-centered, high-performance IT solutions. Ben also serves as Vice President of IT at The Steadman Clinic, where over the last 10+ years he has successfully modernized systems, streamlined workflows, and elevated technology performance.

Ben is widely respected for his white-glove approach to service delivery and a leadership style grounded in extreme ownership. He brings a pragmatic, solutions-oriented mindset to digital transformation—reducing complexity, improving efficiency, and enabling long-term growth. His leadership at both the local and enterprise level makes him a vital partner in shaping the future of OCP’s technology landscape.

Outside of work, Ben enjoys time on the trails and is an avid ultramarathon runner. He lives in Colorado with his wife, Megan, and their two children, Nate and Margot.
