Jennifer brings over two decades of distinguished experience as a nationally recognized healthcare lawyer and strategist. Jennifer was recruited to serve as an executive at OCP after a longstanding consulting role with the organization, where she has demonstrated exceptional leadership and legal expertise.

Previously, Jennifer served in multiple leadership positions, where she drove key initiatives and advised physicians, healthcare executives, and boards on legal and strategic matters throughout the healthcare industry, with a strong focus on orthopedics. Jennifer has served as Chief Counsel at OrthoCarolina, where she provided strategic guidance to the executive team on organizational strategy, regulatory compliance, and risk management. She played a pivotal role in shaping their approach to value-based care models and physician governance, enhancing the organization’s operational efficiency and compliance. Jennifer is also the founder of The Physician Counsel, serving as a trusted advisor to diverse clients in the healthcare sector who relied on her extensive experience and deep understanding of healthcare law and strategy to lead initiatives in risk management, physician governance, and strategic growth. Jennifer’s career is marked by her ability to drive transformational change. Jennifer received her JD with honors from the University of Maryland School of Law and graduated magna cum laude with her BA from La Salle University.
