Surry Wood is a Vice President of Corporate Development for Orthopedic Care Partners (OCP). Surry assists with the sourcing, evaluation, execution and integration of new partnerships to help with OCP’s growth. He also supports physician recruiting.

For over 10 years Surry has been involved with strategy and inorganic growth for healthcare companies.  Prior to joining Orthopedic Care Partners, Surry led the Corporate Development efforts of an outpatient behavioral health group, expanding from a single state into one of the largest groups in the US. He was also previously head of Corporate Development for a regional dental support organization, leading both its inorganic growth (via acquisitions and joint ventures) and organic growth (via de novo site execution). Surry began his finance career at Barclays Capital in its healthcare investment banking group assisting clients in raising debt and equity financing, as well as strategic advisory.

Surry holds an MBA from UNC’s Kenan-Flager Business School and a BA in Economics from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.
